RDS Existence Cost categories combine instance running costs (similar to EC2 existence cost) with the provisioned services and capacity required to run your RDS instance. Examples include data transfer costs, RDS backup storage, and Aurora serverless usage. Utilization Cost - RDS costs that are directly impacted by resource activity.Examples of existence costs include ‘InstanceUsage’ and provisioned I/O and storage costs.
